FanDuel Promo Code Affords $100 Value for Tuesday MLB Games, Any Event

FanDuel Promo Code Affords $100 Value for Tuesday MLB Games, Any Event article feature image

It's MLB trade deadline day, and that means crunch time in the postseason race—especially in the fierce AL East division. The second part of a four-game series between the division-leading Baltimore Orioles and the Toronto Blue Jays headlines Tuesday's 14 MLB games.

Those seeking bonus value can net $100 using the FanDuel promo code on wagers of $5 or more on this game or anything else listed by the sportsbook.

FanDuel requires a minimum $10 deposit and to place a $5 wager on any prop at FanDuel Sportsbook. Whether the bet that you place hits or not, the $100 will be dispensed into your account.

Also, there's no actual promo code needed to access this value.

With bonus bets, you won't keep the stake, but you can profit with them if your bet succeeds. It goes like this: If you place $10 in bonus bets on George Springer to record 2+ hits against Baltimore Tuesday night at +240, you will get $24 in return. In the case he doesn't, you profit nothing.

There's a plus-betting strategy when using bonus bets because of the gap between the true odds of something happening and the sportsbook’s posted odds.

The Orioles lead the AL East on August 1 for the first time since 2016, which was their last season to make a playoff appearance. They opened the series with a 4-2 victory against Toronto and look to Kyle Bradish to bout with Hyun-jin Ryu on Tuesday.

Let's look at a plus-money prop for first pitch at 7:07 p.m. ET at Rogers Centre.

FanDuel Promo Code: Orioles-Blue Jays

The Orioles have taken the slight edge as -105 favorites after being tabbed as +128 underdogs before Monday's series opener. Baltimore's lead in the AL East is tenuous as it holds a 1.5-game lead over Tampa Bay and Toronto is 2.5 games ahead of the Red Sox for the final AL Wild Card position.

Ryu will be making his first start for the Blue Jays in over a year as he returns from Tommy John surgery on Tuesday. The LHP returns to a six-man rotation and is 5-1 with a 4.35 ERA in nine appearances against the Orioles.

Bradish enters this game making his 20th start of 2023 at 6-6 and a 3.29 ERA. He suffered a 3-1 home loss against the Jays in June when he threw for seven innings, surrendering 1 ER and four hits. Bradish shares similar numbers against the opponent as his counterpart—holding a 5-1 record and a 4.35 ERA in his career against the O's.

Baltimore has dominated the Jays in the previous seven meetings this season at 6-1. The O's won eight straight in the beginning of July to springboard them to the top of the AL East. They've won eight of 14 games ever since.

Before dropping its last two games, Toronto won five of six and eight of nine earlier in July to keep the knocking Red Sox and Yankees beneath them in the midst of the division.

The Blue Jays will be adjusting to the absence of Bo Bichette, who exited Monday with knee discomfort. With George Springer's seven-game hitless slump ongoing, our Charlie Disturco broke down why Bradish has the edge against Ryu in his return:

Bradish has also taken steps forward command-wise and in limiting the long ball. His HR/FB rate has decreased nearly 5% from last season. Bradish can still run into hard-hit woes from time to time — think that Phillies game — but he’s been able to mitigate further damage with elite command and his aforementioned off-speed.

I’m not sure why Baltimore is an underdog here against Toronto and Hyun-Jin Ryu, who makes his first big league start since June 1 of last season. Ryu struggled in limited time prior to injury, posting a 5.21 xERA and a barrel rate that neared 10%.

Since the 2020 COVID-shortened season, Ryu has seen his exit velocity noticeably increase while his strikeouts have lagged behind. The Orioles rank inside the top 10 in wRC+ and 11th in isolated power against southpaws in a plus matchup for the squad.

I trust the upside of Bradish more here, and I will look to fade Ryu down the stretch until he shows me otherwise.

With 5.09 strikeouts on the road through 11 starts this season, let's look for Bradish to hit 5+ on Tuesday.

Pick: Orioles ML + Bradish 5+ strikeouts at +158
